Tech VC Conclave

The skilled workforce is all we need to maintain the momentum of growth. Undoubtedly, the education sector's contribution is enormous as we see how an ever-competent workforce emerges to meet futuristic societal needs. The paradigm shift in education requires institutions to reboot, reinvent and restructure in all their spheres through collaborative efforts by learning from each other's success stories and best practices. Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, envisioned the Tech VC Conclave series to create a robust platform to bring in global leaders from all sectors to discuss contemporary issues & trends in technical education. The Tech VC conclave is jointly organized once in two years by VTU, Belagavi in collaboration with organizing Technological Universities in India.

First Tech VC Conclave

23-24 November 2018

The first Tech VC Conclave was organised by VTU, Belagavi, in collaboration with AICTE, New Delhi and Springer Nature with a theme: “Collaborate Innovate Educate” during 23-24 November 2018 at Hotel The LaLiT Ashoka, Bangalore. Thirty Vice Chancellors from various Technological Universities participated and shared their success stories in the Conclave. The plenary talks and panel discussions deliberated several issues related to technical education and possible solutions to address the anticipated challenges.

Second Tech VC Conclave

13-14 February 2020

The Second Tech VC conclave was organised by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Ananthapuram in collaboration with VTU, Belagavi, AICTE, New Delhi and LIS Academy, Bangalore as event organising partners with a theme “Reinventing Excellence in Technical Education” during 13-14 February 2020 at JNTU, Anantapuram. More than 50 Vice Chancellors and Directors of IITs, NITs and 200 Principals of JNTU & VTU affiliated colleges were participated.
